My mom, Joan, was amazing in the kitchen. Her cooking was exceptional. But her baking, well her baking would send your senses into a whirlwind of excitement. People lined up with eyes closed, noses in the air, smiles on their faces, breathing deep the aroma of “fresh baked goodness”, waiting for that first heavenly taste.

I inherited my love for baking from mom. My 1st creation was a tiny cake baked for Dad. With one bite he ate the entire cake, then beamed ear to ear. At age 5, I was the happiest baker on earth!

My passion for baking grew. I started a home-based business designing and decorating cakes. I chose the name “Inspired Creations” because my ideas come from God’s amazing creation. When I see the breath taking beauty of His creations I am inspired to try and capture it.

As a rookie, in the decorating, business I used to rummage through my utensil drawer looking for just the right gadget to help my cake design come alive. A great friend Betty, that just so happens to be my step mom, told me to check out I.C.E.S.---International Cake Exploration Société. I.C.E.S. is a group of great people that have a passion for learning and teaching cake decorating. I became a member of I.C.E.S. and a whole new world was introduced to me. Cutters, molds, presses, sprinkles, sparkles and so much more..... all for decorating! Never again would I have to dig through the utensil drawer (well, almost never).

When you are ready to create something beautiful and yummy, there are so many items and so little time to search for them. The desire to have easy access to lots and lots of items in one place led to the creation of this online store.
